Research: how I use your information
I run an independent study, The CMO Credibility & Confidence Study, on how founders and CEOs see marketing and how confident marketing leaders feel at board level. This section explains what I do with information from people who take part.
Who is responsible
I am Darren Boswell-Gallagher (Darren Gallagher). I decide how your information is used. You can contact me at hello@bemorepresent.co.uk.
What I collect
- Your name, job title, company and contact details
- What you tell me in a conversation, as my notes, and as a recording and transcript if you agree
- Any written answers you send me
Why I collect it
To collate research: I bring together what people tell me, find themes across the conversations and publish what I learn. I ask for your agreement before we start.
Where it is stored
Everything is kept in my paid Google account (Google Workspace), including notes, recordings, transcripts and emails. It is not kept anywhere else.
Who sees it
Only me. I use AI to transcribe calls and interviews, currently expected to be Google Gemini, which runs inside my Google account. I do not sell your details or share them for marketing.
How findings are published
As themes and short quotes, without your name or company unless you have told me I can use them.
How long I keep it
Your contact details, recordings, transcripts and notes are deleted 12 months after I publish the findings. Published findings stay online.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw from the study at any time, by emailing hello@bemorepresent.co.uk. If you withdraw, I delete your information, except anything already anonymised in published findings, which I cannot trace back to you. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
